FORUM RULES The Colosseum has been developed as a place to talk sport or just to socialise. The Colosseum Sports Forum was created and run by volunteer Administrators and Moderators. As such there are certain rules and guidelines that should be obeyed to ensure enjoyment for all. By signing up to this forum you agree to the following: Profanity We'll be fairly liberal here, but swearing or out-of-context 'flaming' will not be tolerated and will be acted upon by the Moderators or Administrators. Any material which is false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, hateful, harassing, profane, threatening, invasive of a person's privacy, racist, sexist or otherwise in violation of ANY law will be removed. Porn or links to pornographic websites is strictly prohibited. ' Flaming Derogatory posts for the sake of it will not be tolerated. We all enjoy good, healthy and robust discussions but any posts that are deemed as flames will be removed. Image Posting This is a public forum where we hope to attract many, many posters of various ages and as many genders as possible. Please use common sense when posting images in posts, as avatars or in signatures. Moderators and Administrators have the right to remove any image deemed unsuitable. Porn is not accepted in any form and any posting will result in immediate ban. Private Messages Members are urged to report any abuse of the PM (Private Message) function to the Administrators or Moderators. This may include threatening, abusive, harassing or Member 'trolling' messages. Users IP Address What is an IP Address An IP address (Internet Protocol address) is a unique number that devices use in order to identify and communicate with each other on a computer network utilizing the Internet Protocol standard (IP). An IP address can appear to be shared by multiple client devices either because they are part of a shared hosting web server environment or because a proxy server (e.g. an ISP or anonymizer service) acts as an intermediary agent on behalf of its customers, in which case the real originating IP addresses might be hidden from the server receiving a request. The analogy to telephone systems would be the use of predial numbers (proxy) and extensions (shared). IP addresses are managed by the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority. IANA generally assigns super-blocks to Regional Internet Registries, who in turn allocate smaller blocks to Internet Service Providers and enterprises.
