A forum set-up as an alternative to the popular, but commercial Sportal.com.au forums. On the demise of Sportsworld, a few of the regulars wanted to continue the experience, hence the birth of The Colosseum Sports Forum on the 27th of September 2005. It officially launched at 2.00pm (+10.00 GMT) Wednesday 28th September 2005. Originally started as an Invisionfree board it later converted into a Zetaboard on the 29th of May 2008. The Colosseum Sports Forum was originally accessed from http://thecolosseum.co.nr but it got its own official domain name http://www.thecolo.com.au on January the 7th 2009 as the forum hit 1 million posts. If it's sports you wish to talk about, hop into The Colosseum Sports Forums many and varied sports forums. These forums will continue to adapt and change dependant on member input. If the social side of the internet is more your go, come on down to the Off-Topic area and take part in the quizzes, games and general chit-chat. You may, of course, wish to be like most members and take advantage of having two distinct forums-types on one site. Post in both, most of us already here do.
