I am as shocked as you all at the sudden demise of Sportal, but I hope that we can offer some relief and a place for you all to enjoy. This is The Colosseum, a little board with big aspirations. It is jointly run by myself (Ser), Ratchy and galahs. Unlike Sportal, we, as Administrators, are also regular users and take feedback and suggestions as a way of improving our place. If you have any suggestions, please drop them in The Box. We are also doing this in whatever spare time we have, much like the way most of you post - we ain't propellor-heads or the fonts of all knowledge. We are quite unprepared for the influx we've had and expect to have, so please bear with us while we clean up our act. For example, I will be cleaning up those forums that quote within quote within quote as soon as I can. Some features: Private Messaging: Anyone with over 20 posts has the ability to send a Private Message to another member. We restrict those under 20 posts to ensure that trolls cannot spam our members. Report a post: Instead of posting a complaint, use the Report function above each post to notify a moderator and Admin of an offensive post. Your user details, along with a link to the particular post will be emailed to the moderators/Admin for action. Please do not abuse this as it takes time to investigate these and you will be found out. Warnings: No more sudden bannings with no explanation. Each user has a Warning Tag which is visible to all moderators and Admin. If you step out of line a moderator will send you a private warning and your warning level will increase by 20% on each warning. Once you hit 100% the moderator is presented with various moderating actions, from pre-post approval to IP banning. Don't think this gives you chances though. We still have the option of bypassing the entire process if required (forum trolls etc). Our rules have yet to be updated from when we were a tiny little community, but they can be seen here. Some of our rules are given to us by our host and contravention will not be tolerated as it will cause our board to be shutdown, therefore NO NUDITY AND NO PORN.
