It has already started. First round Kosmina was happy for a goaless draw with us and the Jets came to town to do this and got bent over. I have a little more faith in our midfield to get through a 10 men defence than last year. The interplay between Archie, Hernandez and Fabiano was awesome and will only get better with time. Also, Berger is adding pace and looks like he can kick a dead ball very nicely. While Friday night showed how well the team can play, I will wait for Merrick to bollock it up by reverting to a 4 4 2 with long balls the only attacking option. I hope now that he has a decent range of options for the midfield that he allows them to use their abilities to pass through the field rather than hoofing it long for Allsopp & Co to run onto. |

Mate, goal less draw at home for us was a great result considering the team we had on the paddock. Also, agree with what you have said, and Ney looks alot better in a midfield role compared to upfront, just not sure if Merrick would play that much of an attacking line up. But kcuf melbourne, i hate seeing them succeed! |

Ahhh Dougie, life on this forum would be so dull without you and your rapier wit!!!! Kossy is the dud. With the Barrel Boys and now with the Bling, his tactics vs Melb are always the same: go for the point. If you and the other Bling fans are happy with this then so be it, I wouldnt be. I hear your already putting together your next album for this season Bling's efforts. According to information leaked from your studio the track list is as follows: 1. Standing on the Outside Looking in A bitter and hostile track venting the supporters hatred of having to stand outside Telstra Dome to watch the Grand Final. 2. Thank God I'm a Lowy Boy! An uplifting war cry featuring a souped up tempo. A Fan favourite when the balance sheet gets released at the end of the season. 3. In loving Memory With a rock feel and hint of nostalgia seeping through its melody, this track pays homage to the only time the Bling have and will hold aloft the Dunny Seat. 4. Back in Black A delusional number designed to make fans feel like they have actually made a profit or ever will! 3. Robbed The Mark Shield excuse. 4. Gentle Art of Making Enemies The Bling mantra for Away Game etiquette 4. Brothers in Arms AN uplifting almost spiritual number for the entire 300 people present at a home game to sing. 5. Dysturbia Conveys the strange circumstance where more people turned up to look at D.Beckham than to support their home town club. 6. The Power of One Homage to the club's membership. 7. Blue Hawaii When an end of season trip is disguised as a football fixture for tax purposes Edited by cookie76, Sep 3 2008, 07:16 AM.

who knows but if I remember correctly Fred was out for a few matches after his less than subtle attempt to elbow Gilligan's thorax region. When he returned he ruled* the pitch. So here's hoping. *accepted variants owned pwned made a meal out of every club. took karate lessons. |

So yeah thats 2 champs/prems now etc etc... Theo has officially left the club to seek a shot at euro glory. All the best to him, probs the best keeper the a-league has had. Mitch and Moss should be fine though, hope to see Mitch living upto his potential. |

I was going to laugh if theo couldn't get a gig overseas so he decided to stay. Melb would have arguably 3 of the best keepers in the league in their dquad. |

He has said that he hasn't got a club lined up, but i dare say that he will have trials set up. I certainly think he is good enough to find a spot in fairly decent league, its all been a bit quiet though since the interest from Everton. |

On Friday I saw Muscat, Brebner and Ward at my 'local' city pub. Muscat was smoking (factory made cigarettes), I half expected Brebner to get a game of two-up happening and Ward had arranged his hair just so. They were with a couple of other guys but I didn't get a proper look and I tried not to stare. So instead I took a surreptitious photo but the quality was poor. |

Got my silver membership the other day. I love how we get a scarf for 5 years of membership given its a summer comp! Still waiting on my pin from year 2!!! Looking forward to the season but am really itching to see our first game as the Bubble Dome. Have a feeling it may be a Champions League game in March. Fingers crossed!!! |
