they are up 2-0 in the 39th min...

Opposition looks pretty weak...

I want to know WHY, why why why they are wearing their white strip against a team that wears white with black stripes... Why not just wear the red strip????

Not particularly(about the same as SFC). Watching out of interest for how Aus clubs will go in the ACL.

Long An looking a lot better this half, doing most of the attacking.

My point was, there is rule saying you HAVE to wear your away strip, so why would you wear it if it is similar to the oppositions strip. Why not just wear the red kit?

I realise this is semantics however, teams (all over the world) generally only wear their 'away' strip if they are away from home and the opposition has a similar home shirt. Ie. Man United v liverpool. If we were to play a team with a non-red home strip, than united would also wear the red 'home' kit. I dont understand the use of the 'away' strip with Aus football... Really only needs to be used in the case of games between Adelaide & Roar, Melb & Perth & ex-Knights, Jets & CCM & Roar. Ie. for games between Melb and the Roar, why is the away strip necessary...

Note: not looking for the same n00b answer as above...

This is also true - kina like when the roar played the knights in NZ and we wore our home strip and THEY wore their away strip haha!!!

But it still doesnt explain why a-league sides ALWAYS wear thier away strip even if it not necessary... ie. Roar v Victory...

Perhaps the sponsorship deal with the sporting goods manufacturer that the A-league is signed with requires the away strip to be given an X amount public viewing.

Yep would all about the $$$'s, why only have one strip on display when you can have both and sell both to the punters.
