Teams that have qualified to the group stage are as follows. Posted Image * United are ranked higher than Chelsea because we finished ahead of them in the league (we are on the same rank points) ** The 2nd leg of the Sevilla / AEK tie is yet to be played to to the postponement out of respect for Antonio Puerta. (to be played Sept 3rd) The draw for the group stages is scheduled for the 30th August (today) and will occur in the wee hours of tomorrow our time... Edited by CK7, Jul 18 2008, 03:53 AM.

i'll be up for it mate, can't wait to see who we get drawn with. great news that we're in pot 1. who would you like to get? i reckon we could beat pretty much any team from pots 2, 3 and 4...so we should get a decent draw. dunno if i want roma though...they'll be out for revenge. |

I don't think I want Lyon, Roma or Sevilla (presuming they get through) from pot 2 or Celtic from pot 3... But other than that I'm confident about this year - we have the squad to do it... But at this stage we won't have Rooney till Matchday 5 or 6 (to be played on 27-28 Nov [Day 5] or 11-12 Dec [Day 6])... |

mate that is amazing, that means that over the past 5 seasons Chelsea & Man u have done equally well in Europe? the rankings dont really matter that much for the draw because isnt every team in the 4 'pools' given equal ranking when the do the draw? (ignoring hot & cold balls of course) |
