Unbe-farking-lievable. Even by Al Davis standards. Mitchell looks good from his highlight film, a hard hitter but they reached for him about 4 rounds too early. And how about the Broncos trading next year's 1st rounder for a 2nd round pick ? Thought Detroit did pretty well to pick the 3 #1 players at their position. Surprised they chose Pettigrew, tight end is a luxury pick in the 1st, and I reckon there was better value in the 3rd or 4th round. Consider that Jared Cook, Chase Coffman, James Casey, Travis Beckum, Shawn Nelson and Cornelius Ingram are all still on the board. Personally I would have looked at picking up defensive lineman Ziggy Hood or left tackle Michael Oher and gone after Coffman in the 4th round. They did say they were going to build the trenches but I guess they have so many holes they're happy to get some starters. Detroit seriously needs to address the holes at middle linebacker and defensive tackle with their 3rd round selections. I'm hoping for McKillop but the Lions could be tempted to roll the dice on DE Michael Johnson or Jarron Gilbert. Edited by Lord NAAFI, Apr 26 2009, 07:17 AM.

He'll need to be good, he'll be getting the ball 10 yards behind the line of scrimmage, the way Warner plays. ;) Cody Brown looks to be the kind of athlete they need. Good draft for the Cards. |

Raiders should have taken Crabtree over Heyward-Bey. |

:worship: great move by al davis letting us get crabtree @ 10 good draft for us, we get a starting reciever with plenty of potential, a big back to back up gore, picked up a safety and DT which we needed. got the best run blocking TE in the draft and got the panthers 1st for next year nate davis is shithouse tho, a wasted pick imo, put up big numbers at college but he is small, error prone and played in a weird college offense |

Michael Mitchell was an even worse pick in the second round. 73rd ranked safety or something?! |

Al Davis really needs to go - I feel sorry for anyone who is a Raiders fan. |
