Weighted for points against. You make it higher up the ladder based on a better defence.

Weighted for points against. You make it higher up the ladder based on a better defence.
They do that the other way around ormally. If points differential is even, then for if equal then against if equal trys scored

Yeah, what Mick said. I've only ever seen them differentiate based on points scored, not points conceded.

NRL.com have just changed to this format, I'm simply following their lead.

It appears that, for the winning teams, the onus is on defensive points conceded to seperate teams but for losing sides they get rewarded for a better attack.
