mmm, yep.
first 2 races a slower driver blocked me, the fat clerk allowed him to.
third race my gears jammed(actually problem with new clutch bedding in) got rammed on second corner after start from behind (my neck is fukked) anyway stuck in 3rd but decided to push her threw corners, old girl is handling it,absolutly humming, had wheel ripped out of hand on 1 corner crossed up at around 90,pedal flat the 308 screaming.
clerk told me to take it easy,little was i to know this was part of his grand master plan as i was the biggest adversary to the two cars winning the grade and he actually sponsors them 2 cars.

last race, rear of field in mud on short(tighter track)
im not interested really after clerks crap but 1 by one i pick my way threw the field and start pushing it, last lap caught leader(clerks mate)yellow flag on second to last corner with a car stalled on exit.
clear obstruction give the ol girl a bootful and as i approach last corner move up the inside of leader, he starts bashing into me taking us both wide and 3rd moves up to take flag.
clerk calls us up to tower but in pits clerks mate abuses piss out of me thinking it was full course yellow and i was trying to ram him because i couldnt win race(so he rammed me in retaliation)
clerk puts me back a place because i didnt turn into corner, except i did but his mate rammed me forcing me wide and allowing third to get first and got put up to second for heat.

turns out his mate was heading for meeting win until i dived up inside, going back to second sent him to second for the meet, the 3rd place car getting past both of us relegated him to 4th for the meet, by giving him my points he ended up second.

this is fraken a joke but it actually happened.
we have nicknamed him joe cocker (i get by with a little help from my friends)

everyone says it was crap.
i could of protested at a cost of ten bucks but i chose not to create the stress over 1 point and im not there for points/trophies just to race.
the drop kick who made the decision is renowned for this, unfortunatly no one turns up to AGM's to take clerks job.
worst though was the way he spoke to me which was insulting and offensive as if he's some god (actually everyone laughs at him behind his back)
mate said use this to {quote} beat the funts more{unquote}
and we will.

on sundy we took out the torry for practice after reseating the head on the right bank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
with a damaged piston we wernt sure if she'd go bang or not and there was only 1 way to find out.

soaking wet track bald rear tyers and around 350-400 horsepower!!!!!!!

we worked out we on straights can at times hold this car for about 80 meters like that, that would atrract serious points in "drift" racing.

the old girl went out again sundy, possibly her last hooray and it was in style.......

we had a crack against a club legend in his new gen IV powered4wd rx30 mazda!!
he was always going to do us
we got beat but by not much, in fact we got good recognition of the speed of this ol 308 torry with flogged everything and the way both drivers drove her!!!!
probably build a crummydore next or my 280zx with the torry engine in her!!!!!

parts availability mate, the current shell is at the end of her tether and torry bits and pieces is almost at collector status where as crummydores are almost given away(vb-vl) handle as well and easier to work on.

vl's were a good model with walkinshaw bits for the brakes/suspension.and we have a bt1 vl doing not much!!!
