The hypocrisy of a league fan bagging the international status of AFL. Wow, league has 2 competitive teams to AFL's 1. OMFG, what a game.

1. AFL Players have necks
2. They don't resemble a newborn Gazelle when they go to kick (call it "skill")
3. It is a National Competition
4. People actually go to watch it. (call it a "crowd")
5. None wear tight shorts - not since 1978 anyway!
6. AFL doesn't have State of Origin, which is basically a contest to see which State has the best Tongans!
7. The AFL Footy Show is just a drab and pathetic as the NRL's. (Call it a draw)

...and "Go Storm"!

The funniest part is the "lack of skill" accusation.

League players have 50m of sideline to aim at every time they kick it and still seem to inadvertently find the fullback on the fly 9 times out of 10.

Brendan Fevola has 8 metres of space to kick the ball in and regularly does it from 60 metres.

(cue the usual "at least you don't get a point for missing in league" retort).

 deadset phat, you know its not that simple, there are usually 3 quick player at the back covering that space ( i know its hard for you but nodody can kick the ball 50 yards in less then a second )

if you want to bag us, bag us for somthing dull like the cross field bombs

As you know mate I'm a league fan as well and I understand that unequivicolly. I was just taking a leaf out of LT's "generalise everything to the enth degree" book.

Pffft. Like in rah rah where two players have the sole responsibility of ensuring that their opposition counterparts can't even have a look at the ball?

I love the fact that you can get pissed & bash your missus in AFL & get off with 5000 dollar fine.

Exactly the same as yours you goit. You have to protect the ball-carrier in AFL.

No, but in most of them they are.

Besides, most of the time now when someone gets smashed miles away from the ball, a free kick is awarded anyway.
