I'm going to have a tenner on the Dogs to do us tonight. Not sure I like the idea of Hawkins having the forward line to himself with no Mooney. Johnson will be vital, and I think Ablett will have to spend about a quarter of the game up forward to make sure we can kick a big enough score.

Top stuff by the Doggies. I like them this year. They might just have enough.

Wow, what a game. In the games where Geelong has been pressed, or beaten, the opposition has virtually always either kept pace with us from the start or actually lead us from the start.

I can't recall at any stage during our streak, barring 5 minutes of the opening round against Hawthorn, when a team has been well behind and actually hunted us down. Full credit to the Dogs. But we won. Just hope we can hang in there for the next few weeks until we get Milburn back, as well as Mooney obviously. Geez we mised Dasher on Friday - Taylor is just not mobile enough for a player like Johnson.

Swans kicking 8 goals in any quarter = epic fail by the Power.

I have an intense dislike for the Swans but it doesn't go close to matching my hatred for Port. Keep it going Swans.

Their attitude more than anything. The likes of Tredrea in particular - the guy is a good footballer but an out and out wanker. Dish-Head Dean Brogan is a pure thug as well.

Just heard on the telecast that no two teams have won the first 9 games of the season. I remember last year they were talking about it with geelong and hawthorn before the cats stumbled and the saints look like doing the same thing today.

Edit - wrong cut-and-paste.

What I meant to say was that Montagna just drilled one from 50m to put the Saints back in front. What a c*nt.

thank kcuf for that... Saints twice in a row have had big challenges.. we need to get back to being hard out gunnish :nono:

both those sides are good tho

what we learnt from this round.... WB and Brissy may be worthy #3 and #4's? Despite the apparent\ large gap between 1 and 2 and the rest
