Initially, it was a great pass by Alonso to go off track and still make the pass.... but a slower Webber (No KERS) dived back up the inside, didnt lock any brakes and defended.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJ9CPtk5iAk

The Colosseums' motorsport expert Posts: 4,163 Group: Global Moderator Member #19 Joined: 29 September 2005	but Tah.... the F1 rulebook states that a driver in F1 is allowed to go "off the racing once" in order to block a passing attempt... if you look at Webbers driving, he slowly moves over the left and alonso keeps going with it. its the onus of the driver behind to pass, alonso did, but he chose to go off track to do it... once the pass had been made, webber then darted back to the inside to pass himself
