Great game of rugby.
The Boks look good for the 3 nations.
They may be short an openside after the eye gouging.
This is a example of a once great player on the down ward slide.

He's got 8 weeks.

Hard to imagine it wasn't pre meditated given that it ws 32 seconds into the game.

Reports after the 2nd Test.

Quote:

Five Lions players went to hospital after the game.

Props Gethin Jenkins and Adam Jones have both been ruled out of the third Test against South Africa. Jenkins suffered a cracked cheekbone and Jones dislocated his shoulder.

Brian O'Driscoll (concussion), Jamie Roberts (wrist) and Tommy Bowe (elbow) will all be monitored during the week before a decision is taken on their availability for the final Test.

Ronan O'Gara cannot open his left eye this morning.

Typical report after a Boks game, and to prove just how typical it is:

Quote:

South African flanker Schalk Burger and lock Bakkies Botha have both been cited after the game. Burger has been cited for attempting to gouge the eyes of Luke Fitzgerald, while Botha has been cited for a dangerous no-arm charge on Adam Jones which left the Welsh prop with a dislocated shoulder.

By the way;

Boks 28 - Lions 25
Did you watch the whole game?

BOD is a dirty little bastard. Good on you guys for taking him out in 2005. Sherridan kicking Bekker in the nuts. Do they get cited? Nope cause our players not ballet girls. They know how to play a game.

Burger - Yes was f stupid of him. On purpose - don't think so. Not in the 30th second of the game. I read to much of Burger and his friendship with the AB's and Wallabies. You really think they would like him if he was a dirty (with that I say DIRTY player). I read interviews from NZ players to Aus players. They all say Burger plays hard but fair. Bakkies bann - ridicilous.

If you go and watch the whole Lions tour up to date. Look closely - the way they tackling. every 2nd one was high. They went out to make our guys angry. And when we give it back to them they can't handle it. The AB's and Wallabies can handle it! Kitties they are.

The NH wanted the ELV's scrapped - they wanted the maul back. Did they use it once? NOPE! The best try of the tour was from a maul. And who scored? US!

In the end S14 and SH rules! Those kitties from up there cant handle the heat!

BTW Jenkiins got that cracked cheekbone while jumping in the air trying to tackle Habanna. He jumped into his own team's player! :yeah: Habanna got up and played the rest of the game! :drink:

BOD got his concussion from jumping into Danie Rossouw without any hands. Seriously what was he thinking? :agree:

O'Gara got our MOM! Nice tackle in the air!

Fire up there Proudly!
I do agree the laws that the tests have been played under a kcufing hopeless as has the ref's over in NZ and Australia.
The plonker who did the Wallabies V Frogs didn't have a clue what was happening at the break down. He kcufed up as the TMO the week before and that didn't change when he moved to the centre.

Bloody whinging poms, how can you say this sort of shit with a straight face?

Lions head coach Ian McGeechan said: "I am highly delighted. This is massive. They [the Lions] picked themselves up. The dressing room last weekend was not one I wanted to be in. There was so much sadness. They are an outstanding group of players. I think we have been the best team in four of the six halves of rugby we have played in the Tests.

I would think that the South Africans have taken the whinging mantel from the Poms with the wearing of white arm bands during the game.
And Surrender they did.
Now they want the IRB to look into the law that Barkies was sent off under.
Bloody whinging Saffars.

A weekend protest by players resulted in the South Africa Rugby Union being charged on Monday for alleged breaches of the International Rugby Board Code of Conduct.

The Springboks wore armbands during their defeat by the British and Irish Lions on Saturday as a symbol of solidarity for suspended team-mate Bakkies Botha, out for two weeks for dangerously charging into a ruck in the previous match.

The IRB decided the protest demonstrates "a clear disregard of the disciplinary process and does so in a manner which brings, or has the potential to bring, the game into disrepute".

The IRB will refer the matter to the independent judicial panel chairman who will appoint a judicial officer or committee.

They need to take a firm hand with these dipshits or the IRB will end up like the ICC a toothless tiger.

Fine their Union $250,000.00 and if a repeat occurs they loose a place on the board for a year.
