I actually quite like Roddick and I think you'll find most players agree, Federer or otherwise. He can be a c*nt on the court but he is a very likeable guy in terms of his off-court stuff. Well done to Federer, just too good. |

He is another Goran - has his outbursts on the court but aside from that is just a joker and I have not once seen him show any genuine disrespect to any other player. |

Federer in his victory speech was saying [something along these lines] 'sorry Andy, these games are very tough.. i know what it's like...' Andy shouted out, halting federer's speech.. 'you've only won it 5 times..' *eye roll *no smile put Roger in a bit of an awkward spot but he handled it ok.. =] but yea i like Roddick a lot hes pretty funny.. but this time i dont think he was really jk haha coz u know when they are or not.. the thing is he was REALLY pissed/sad at this point... he felt he should've won the match..so its understandable ... he was pretty much bawling on the inside.. oh trust me if its a roddick joke/sarcasm ive seen it :laughing: have seen many on utube i just felt this was different iidr roger didnt erally catch it so roddick shouted it louder to make sure he heard it.. idk.. my final thoughts is 60% joke 40% 'stop being a nice guy u funt' lol Edited by Mao, Jul 6 2009, 05:13 AM.

I remember him saying a few things after Younes el Aynoui beat him 16-14 in the fifth at the Aussie open about 6 years ago, said in a very similar manner and in jest. Roddick is occasionally petulant with umpires but I have never seen him be anything short of magnanimous to opponents, though admittedly he has a different way of showing it. |

What an epic final!! Won by the greatest player of all time unquestionably :worship: :worship: Missing the final due to work in the morning FTFL! That final set went on for 95 minutes!! :shocked: That's more than the ENTIRE length of the women's final and Serena and Roger get the same prize money - WTF???? |
