tbh I didn't see it, just read the report online in the paper, apparently Vettel got away while Webber was held up by Barrichelo(?) and once Webber was past the gap between the 2 stayed fairly consistent, with Vettel winning by 15.5 Secs I'm sure Steve will give us a wrap up soon! |

Reasonable race and mostly a procession apart from some battles further down in the field. At the top end of the field, Webber failed to get past Barichello at the first corner and as such never had a chance of catching Vettel. Webber took Barichello just at the first pit stops but Vettel was something 20sec up the road and going so strong, Red Bull asked him to turn his engine down!!! Best bits of the race were Lewis and Alonso battling further down the field. Very pleasing to see Lewis languishing at the tale end of the race. Oh and seeing Nicole in the pits, man she is hot. I hate you Lewis. Button had problems with his car bottoming out at corner 1 and given the nature of the track, couldnt pass others due to this. Kimi has alot to answer for from Saturday. If Webber had managed pole or even at least got on the front row, maybe he could have had a crack at Vettel. Anyway onto Germany in a fortnight's time. |

Well, it was a procession.... very boring in terms of action... Only 1 incident between Kovalainen and Bourdais which saw them both retire... Webber was f'ucked by Kimi on Sat... Webber was 5 thousandths slower in Sector 1 than Vettel and 6 thousanths quicker in the last.... the middle sector is where Kimi impeded him and thats wehre Mark lost 4 tenths... Webber qualified just 12 thousandths slower than Barrichello, so Kimi (if he didnt cost him pole) definately cost him a front row slot. Mark had an extra lap of fuel on board and was able to get past Barrichello in that one lap. After the first stop (lap 20) the gap was 22.3 seconds (yes, over a second per lap Rubens held up Sebastian)..... with 2 laps to go it was 18.1...... Barichello was another 35 seconds behind Mark.... The surprise for me was Force India... Fisi was just 8 seconds outside the points in 10th on his own speed.... No SC's, no retirements in front of him.... at one stage he was pulling away from the Heidfeld, Alonso , Hamilton group by 8 tenths per lap... and was 30 odd seconds ahead of them at the end, still on the lead lap. Great to see the McLaren going slower and slower... |

The Red Bull car changed in appearance... the front nose which was relatively thin became wider and somewhat flatter.... also, the 3rd round with the double diffuser has allowed them to make adjustments and it seems its a great step forward.... all weekend, the Red Bull were faster by almost 3/4 of a second per lap |
