The ABs have been ruined by creating/using/selecting too many utility players.
Henry and Co have created a group of players that can play in 2/3 positions but they are not great in one position. The ABs used to have great players in almost every position now we have 2/3 average players in every position!

Its time to select specialist players and play them in position for many games!!

kcuf Henry is stupid

over and out

The way the game is going, players have to be able to slot in anywhere. Lote can only play wing, that is why Deans has brushed him. Gits, O'Connor, Mitchell can all cover multiple spots. Even Mumm switches from second row to backrow. It think in the not too distant future front rowers will be the only specialised positions on the field.

kind of agree but players should be given the chance to develop into a great player in one position because most positions have slightly different requirements (some more)

A few injuries and the AB's have nothing.
Loose cheating Richie and your one and only 1st 5 in Carter, and the team falls apart.
Good god the depth is only a puddle.

I think the depth is fine if they chose the right players and actually tried to keep players that mattered.
Not an excuse but NZ has lost many players to Europe.
Haymen perhaps the biggest lose????

NZ has enough talent its just unlike aussie we havent needed to get all the young guys into the team at once UNTIL NOW! (I think its great the young talent aussie has) but dont kid urself that NZ has none. Its just that Henry and Co havent picked it yet and prob wont since they are morons

Dead on old man, it is an ever changing game and multitasking is the new position. Club rugby has done it for years with success and it even comes to the tight 3, they have to learn to interchange. So many loose head props won't play tight, soon they will need to cover both roles!
