Australia coach Robbie Deans is oddly hoping All Black duo Richie McCaw and Dan Carter will be fit to take on his Wallabies during the Tri-Nations.

The southern hemisphere spectacle is set to begin on July 18 when Australia collides with an out-of-form New Zealand side, which has been dogged by injuries of late.

Deans, in contrast, will name a pretty much full-strength 2009 squad this Thursday, but admits both the Kiwis and the tournament requires the class of his currently injured former students.

"It would be great to play the All Blacks with those blokes there," Deans said.

Tokyo to Host Bledisloe Finale.

The fourth 2009 Bledisloe Cup Test between Australia and New Zealand has once again been confirmed to take place in Asia on October 31.

Japan's Rugby Football Union confirmed on Tuesday at a media conference it will stage the match at the National Stadium in Tokyo, which holds a capacity of more than 57,000.

Is that a soccer score, or do you really believe that the AB's will win 2 games?

I see it as 3 to Wallabies and the AB's to win the dead rubber in Japan.

Put the Wallabies down for Sydney and Honkers.

AB's to win the other two.

I am however quietly confident of breaking the Eden Park Hoodoo.
