Mate I thought he was excellent....his defence isn't the greatest but he has blinding speed for a half, arguably the best kicking game in the business and can organise the troops quite well. He would be a good fit with Brett Kimmorley who would take control of the team. Depends what they do with Barrett who was good in the first game but lack of match fitness might hurt him with his suspension after Greg Inglis headbutted his forearm in the 2nd game. |

He has been going gangbusters most of the season....but we do have a tendency to do that.. I know QLD usually stick solid with their players but a lot of the time you never had the depth either to chop and change. |

Thats the thing, he has been playing well all season. If he is good enough 7 weeks in to the origin period and worthy of consideration now, he should have been selected in game 1 and kept in the role regardless of the win / loss ratio. If NSW had won game one we would be talking about how good Campese is. And I agree on the QLD depth thing being an advantage to QLD, NSW have so much choice they second guess their selections based on individual game performances. |
