I thought I'd get in early and trot this out. How big a squad are they naming? Are they only allowed to take 20 like in the World Cup. I thought I'd name 22. 1. Slater 2. Hayne/Boyd 3. Inglis/Hayne (depending on Inglis's availability) 4. Hodges 5. Folau 6. Lockyer 7. Thurston 8. Price 9. Smith 10. Civoniceva 11. Watmough 12. Creagh 13. Gallen 14. Gidley 15. Thaiday 16. Smith 10.Poore 11.Creagh 12.Watmaugh 13.Gallen 14.Gidley 15.Crocker 16.Weyman 17.Taylor 18.Boyd 19.Farrah 20.O'Donnell 21.Perry 22.White(deserves to be rewarded for that punch) Why i ommitted certain players; Steve Price - soft and past his use by date. Also out injured every seccond game making him a liabililty in the squad as seen in the World cup Last season Civo - assuming he is injured and won't be fit Slater- has been disgracful this season. does not deserve to get anywhere near a kangeroos jumper. also a massive liabililty as proven over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. |

Honestly? I'd pick Myles on the bench, I'd pick Poore, and I'd pick Price (not sure when was the last time a player was ommitted because they were fit - imagine the Kiwis leaving out Marshall on the basis that he may GET injured), and even Kite did an ok job in Origin 1 - 12 runs for 94 metres. Hell, Shillington got through 12 hit ups for 80 minutes in Origin 3. |

I am unable to pick a Australia side anymore... I will never pick Hayne and Jennings because they are members of other nations - as per the 2008 WC - and they should still be there to contest the Sth Pacific Cup this year for the right to play Australia, NZ and England in the 2010 4 Nations... So, can I pick a Australian side without these 2...?? I was going to call them clowns for agreeing to swap, but it's actually the fault of the RLIF which has the spine of a Liberal leader.. |
