Ice hockey takes priority. Anyways, I have been having a punt.

Winners Of Note and perhaps ones to follow this year and next...

Star Spangled Banner... Just keeps winning for me.

Tickets... 2nd only to the above.

Road to Rock.. Absolutely brained So You Think over 1600m. Great win for me at odds. Back to a handicap or WFA next year and it will do same.

Viewed.. Champion

Apart from that a lot of bets for a big spring negative so far. I love to play a bit here with small bets and I reckon I'm minus over the last 3 months on the horses.

Efficient, Viewed, Changing of the Guard and any horse starting wirth an M in the Melbourne Cup.

Heading to Melbourne this weekend for Bucks trip for Derby Day.

Haven't been this pumped for a while....

and well done to Bart. Horses don't win WFA Group 1 race in their 5th start. Amazing but it had absolutely no weight.

I'm sure if Bart wasn't training it it wouldn't have been under $10. Should have been closer to $20...

Legend.

Already has Viewed, Roman Emperor and Allez Wonder in the Cup. Viewed is about $6.50, Roman Emperor about $11 and Allez Wonder about $26.

Dammit. I'm going down there for one on the 28th - not even the Sandown meetings are still going at that stage. Doubtless I'll find a lucrative way to lose at crown though.

DAFFODIL has been heavily supported at the Melbourne Cup Call of the Card but Viewed still remains the favourite to give Bart Cummings a 13th win.

Bookmakers reported heavy trade on Daffodil on Monday morning then again at the Call of the Card with the mare between $14 and $17.

Melbourne bookie Alan Eskander stood Daffodil to lose around $1 million at the Call of the Card while there was steady support for Viewed who is now into $4.80 on with TAB.

South Australian Alcopop is the second pick while punters have mainly steered away from the Europeans.
