Luke Ball nominated for the draft and has declared he wants to go to Essendon or Collingwood, Brisbane have said that if he is available when they get to pick and he is best available they will take him. Will be interesting to see when he gets picked and by whom.

Wont be us unfortunately. Mind you, he is asking for $1mil over 2 years with a team third year optional at a ridiculously low rate.

Still a bit pricey over the first 2 years for ball. Essendon will get him.

Wonder how tempted Melbourne will be with pick 18 would already have taken 3 kids and can fit him into their salary cap by all reports.

He is threatening to take a year off and travel overseas if that is the case i think. Doubt he does that tho. Will most likely play but be absolutely spewing. I doubt melb take him tho.

Essendon will almost 100% have him i reckon. Especially since Mcphee looks like buggering off as well.

it can take c3 years for a good days drafting to impact fully on on field performance as long as everything falls into line after draft day.
this year is the last one for awhile where it wont take 5-7 years as a result of the concessions to the the two new clubs!

unless of course a few vic clubs fall then there lists become available to us who remain!!

otherwise good hunting or get use to being crap! for awhile

Luke Ablett (Sydney Swans), Jarryd Allen (St Kilda), Luke Ball (St Kilda), Jordan Bannister (Carlton), Adam Bentick (Carlton), Ryan Brabazon (Sydney Swans), Simon Buckley (Melbourne), Chris Bryan (Collingwood), Adam Campbell (Fremantle), Cameron Cloke (Carlton), Scott Clouston (Brisbane Lions), Eljay Connors (St Kilda), Mark Coughlan (Richmond), Jake Edwards (Carlton), Leigh Fisher (St Kilda), Andrew Foster (Fremantle), Greg Gallman (Adelaide), Jonathan Giles (Port Adelaide), Nick Gill (Adelaide), Scott Harding (Brisbane Lions), Daniel Harris (North Melbourne), Rhan Hooper (Brisbane Lions), Nick Lower (Port Adelaide), Aaron Kite (Adelaide), Matthew Laidlaw (Sydney Swans), Malcolm Lynch (Western Bulldogs), Dan McKenna (Geelong Cats), Jamie McNamara (West Coast), Matt Maguire (St Kilda), John Meesen (Melbourne), Michael Newton (Melbourne), Jarrad Oakley-Nicholls (Richmond), Daniel O’Keefe (Sydney Swans), Guy O’Keefe (Western Bulldogs), Paul O’Shea (Western Bulldogs), Adam Pattison (Richmond), Kayne Pettifer (Richmond), Sam Power (North Melbourne), Dean Putt (Richmond), Matt Riggio (North Melbourne), Russell Robertson (Melbourne), Jason Roe (Brisbane Lions), Scott Simpson (Geelong Cats), Wayde Skipper (Western Bulldogs), Jesse Smith (North Melbourne), Danny Stanley (Collingwood), Kane Tenace (Geelong Cats), Mitchell Thorp (Hawthorn), Matthew Tyler (Brisbane Lions), Cameron Wight (Western Bulldogs), John Williams (Essendon), Michael Wundke (North Melbourne).

List of delisted players that have nominated for the National Draft. Nathan Brown has not only not nominated he has announced that he has retired could have been an outright superstar of the game if not for a very ugly broken leg.

Hawthorn and Port Adelaide have both indicated that they want a ruckman ready to go. Chris Bryan from Collingwood, Cameron Cloke from Carlton, John Meesen from Melbourne, Adam Pattison and Dean Putt from Richmond all fit the bill anad it is likely that at least two of those named will be taken.

Jesse Smith from North Melbourne has been injury prone but has plenty of talent and will most likely be taken and if a positive medical report will be taken earlier then most expect not just a late speculative pick.

Mitch Thorp from Hawthorn some injuries but a major case of figjam that has made him rather unpopular with with his team mates and is alleged to be the reason Hawthorn delisted him is training with Melbourne would be surprised if he isn't taken if he has been cured a good player to be gained.

Rhan Hooper from Brisbane lazy and uncommitted but has mountain of talent. Is currently training with Richmond and like Thorp if he has realised that his career and attitude are intertwined and wants to behave would be a very handy pick up.

can't believe I forgot but Luke Ball from St. Kilda has nominated wants to go to either Collingwood or Essendon but has to get past Melbourne first will be interesting to see what happens.
