The Blues have been pretty good I think, but they've had a couple of injuries (I reckon they'd have rathered lose all the trials and stil have williams). It's rare to field a full-strength lineup in a trial, but the chiefs have had some good players on the park.

Watch Your Back!!! Posts: 6,649 Group: Full Member Member #609 Joined: 31 August 2006	For the Blues, we are 2 from 3 in the trial games....beating the Canes & Chiefs and losing to the C'untsaders. Apart from the loss of Ali Williams, we might also be without a genuine fullback in the first game against the Canes after Paul Williams suffered a concussion in the last pre-seaon game. Williams is set for a number of cognitive diagnostic tests and with him in doubt, George Pisi nursing a damaged shoulder, Anthony Tuitavake out indefinitely and Luke McAlister out for the first three Super 14 matches, Blues coach Pat Lam may have to use Rudi Wulf as full-back cover.

They lost to the Highlanders and the Blues with 2nd string sides. No excuses for the third trial against the 'Canes. It was practically a full strength unit missing Mils Muliaina. They also played Jackson Willison at 2nd five eigthth in place of Callum Bruce. I hope it stays that way. Callum Bruce is a kcufing turnstyle....hes the new Mark Ranby. ITS ALED TIME!! For the past few years they have been clearly the worst of the NZ teams. But this year I pick them to finish higher on the ladder than at least one, maybe two.
