The rest of us moved to guns some time ago. Triple jump. A practical joke some drunken long jumpers came up with. High jump. Take away the foam mat and you might just have something. Who wants it BAD enough to faceplant into the dirt ? Shot put. I don't know about you but I constantly need to throw a 7.26 kg steel ball from inside a 7 foot circle. I guess they need something to cross to in between track events. A sport in dire need of hot cheerleaders if ever I've seen one.
